Students, faculty, staff and University guests are encouraged to use these services anytime they feel unsafe about traveling at night.

• If you are in a dangerous or emergency situation, call 9-1-1.
• Be respectful of the dispatcher, escort teams, cab/bus drivers and fellow bus riders.
• Be informed - familiarize yourself with the basics of the SAFE services and memorize 262-5000.
• Be kind. Please tip the cab driver and a $1 donation to the program is greatly appreciated.
• Be smart and plan ahead. Know where you are going, have your campus ID card and driver tip.
• Be accessible. Stay by a phone. The SAFE dispatcher may need to call you if there is a problem or delay.
