Project Description

ATC Substation Detour A small pedestrian trail south of the Walnut Street will be closed.  Pedestrians need to use alternate routes.

August 2008 through December 2010 East Campus Utility Loss of approximately 10 stalls
January 2009 through Early 2011

 

Chazen Art Museum Addition Loss of 20 stalls due to the project
Lot 9 October 19-23, 2009 Three to four stalls will be closed and used by contractor to repair the roof on Science Hall. Park in remaining stalls in lot.  If lot is full, display Lot 9 permit and park in bagged/ reserved meter in upper level of Lot 6 (HC White ramp).
Lot 10 January 2009 through January 2011 Education Building Lot will be closed
Lot 22
March 2009 through December 2010 Wisconsin Institute of Discovery Lot will be permanently closed
Lot 27
May 2009 through Summer 2011 Preschool & 1430 Linden Demolition/SOHE addition Lot of 19 stalls during construction
Lot 30 September 2008 through December 2010 Biochemistry Phase II with temporary loss of stalls during construction  Lot closed
Lot 35 Through the end of November 2009 Contractor will be working on underground utilities. Park in remaining stalls in lot.  If lot is full, display Lot 35 permit and park in Lot 32 or Lot 34.
Lot 51 October 19, 2009  through May 2010 Construction of new Physical Plant Building will occur in the southern half of Lot 51.  The southern driveway (near McDonald's) will be closed.  The other 2 driveways will remain open during construction. Park in remaining stalls in north section of the lot.
Lot 54 Beginning May 4, 2009 A section of Charter Street (N of Lot 54 driveway to Dayton St) will be temporarily closed for approximately 4 weeks.  During construction, access will be maintained to Lot 54 but access to the lot will be from the South.  Charter St from the Lot 54 driveway to Spring Street will temporarily be 2-way traffic
Lot 58
Fall 2008 Food Research Demolition.  The stalls in front of Goodnight Hall will not be available thru October.  This will be used for reserved parking for Speech/Hearing Clinic. Display your permit and park in remaining stalls in Lot 58.  If lot is full, display your Lot 58 permit and parking in 34, 36 or 62.
Lot 82
October 13 thru November 30, 2009 In the east section of the lot, 3 stalls will be used to access the athletic fields. Construction vehicles will be present.  Use caution when walking/driving in the area. Display your permit and park in remaining stalls in Lot 82. There are more Lot 82 stalls now available in the section next to Nielsen Tennis Stadium (formerly Lot 66).   If lot is full, display your Lot 82 permit and parking in 76.
Lot 88
November 10-19, 2009 Bore testing (drilling small holes in the pavement) will occur in the lot during this time.  The lot will remain open but the contractor may need to block up to 6 stalls in the lot per day. Display your permit and park in remaining stalls in the lot. If lot is full, display your Lot 88 permit and parking in Lot 44 or 91.
