Personal Passcodes
Before you complete the Personal Passcode signup, please read the
following reminders:
- To successfully use our Audio/Visual systems, you will need
both a passcode and a key. You will get a passcode after
successfully completing this form. You must contact a
Media Support Specialist
to obtain the key.
- When you are done using the Audio/Visual equipment, you MUST
either shut down the equipment or log off. Touch SYSTEM OFF in
the lower right corner of the touch panel. Do this after every class. Do NOT leave the
equipment on for the next instructor.
- When you are done using the Audio/Visual equipment, you MUST
lock all of the podium doors, including the document camera door
and the VCR/DVD door.
- If your classroom has a microphone, please
notify us when you replace
the second to last spare battery. We must be notified that the battery supply is low.
- Every wireless microphone has a battery indicator. Replace
the battery when the indicator is RED, or the touch panel
indicates that the battery needs replacing. DO NOT replace the
battery when the indicator is
green or
yellow.
- Throw away dead batteries immediately, put them in the
Battery Recycle container, or recycle them yourself. DO NOT put them on the podium, back in the box, or anywhere
they could get confused with good batteries.
- Return the wireless microphone and remotes to the podium
when you are done. The microphone will not work in any other
classroom.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or problems to that room's
Media Support Specialist
as soon as problems occur. Every room has a telephone inside the
podium for this purpose. We would much rather hear about the
same problem 5 times than not at all. We cannot fix things that
we don't know are broken!
