Basic Biosafety

  • Roles and responsibilities of researchers, Institutional Biosafety Committee, etc.
  • Risk assessment fundamentals
  • Good laboratory practices and precautions for Biosafety level 1 and 2
  • Types of containment equipment
  • Proper disposal of biological materials, including sharps and infectious agents
  • Emergency preparedness
