Introduction to Testing

Now that you have completed the training portion of the this page, it is time to see what you have learned. The following set of pages contain a series of questions regarding working with bloodborne pathogens in your lab and workplace.

Important
Note that in addition to completing this on-line training sequence, your employer must maintain a Training Checklist to document that you have been informed of the risks of working with bloodborne pathogens as well as informed of the proper precautions, standards, and procedures when working with bloodborne pathogens.

  1. Complete the following test section.
  2. Print the sample OSHA Bloodborne Training Checklist found at the end of the test.
  3. Deliver the checklist to your employer for proper verification.
  4. Be sure that the checklist is properly filed.

A program specific checklist developed by your employer that applies to specific needs of your workplace can serve as a replacement for the downloadable file.
