Worksheets have been developed and are included in this section of the manual to assist you by providing examples of how to track and process the high risk procedures for your particular work unit.
Worksheets can serve to help you focus on your training priorities and as a reference for everyday use.
The worksheets included here have been designed to help units work through identification of high risk elements in the work area and to subsequently identify technique, process and PPE to safely and effectively control those elements.

Additional Training
Completion of this on-line training tool has hopefully
helped you to increase the safety of your workplace. If you feel
you want further information regarding bloodborne pathogens, the UW-Madison Safety Department
has a large resource base at your service, most are low cost or
free.
In addition, the UW-Madison Safety Department maintains a library of VHS format training videos. These videos can be previewed at the Safety Department, 103 North Lake Street, during normal weekday hours. Other training videos related to medical/surgical patient care procedures and the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard are available at the C.S.C. Weston Library or the U.W. Hospitals and Clinics Infection Control Unit.
You can also download a copy of a "poster" style CDC Guideline to prominently display in your work area.
